In the filter press industry, the plate supporting frame is called a skeleton. Depending upon your specific needs, FILTER PRESS INDIA will manufacture your press skeleton with sidebars, double sidebars, overhead plate suspension or custom designs. Skeletons are fabricated from high quality A-36 structural steel and epoxy coated. Stainless steel is available if a corrosive environment exists in your plant. FILTER PRESS INDIA heat treats fabricated steel components prior to machining, then surface grinds to close tolerances so filter plates maintain proper alignment.

Demanding service or explosion-proof process requirements can be met through your choice of either pneumatic or electrically powered hydraulic mechanisms. Double-acting hydraulic cylinders allow automatic opening and closing of filter presses for easy filter cake discharge. FILTER PRESS INDIA filter press designs proved automatic compensation for thermal expansion and contraction of the filter plate stacks to maintain proper hydraulic closing pressures. Design pressures for filter press feed or squeeze may be specified at 100 psi, 225 psi or as required.
